Forget the partridge in a pear tree… here’s what globetrotters are dreaming about this year.
Stella Go-Go portable speaker. Not only gorgeous, but water resistent, great sound and it can be attached to things like bikes, strollers, wherever you might need some tunes to liven things up a bit. Available in three colors: White/Gold, Navy/Gold, and Black/Gold. $129 at Stella Audio.
A budget alternative is the Mpow Armor Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker for $35. The cool features of this small speaker include loud sound, strong bass, and the ability to use it in the shower or at the beach or pool without worry.
Victorinox Blocking Travel Organizer Wallet. This RFID-blocking passport holder and wallet will keep your credit card information safe. I love it’s size which allows for 4 passports plus pockets for airline frequent flier cards, credit cards, and lounge passes. The outside pocket is much appreciated for easy access to boarding passes. Available in 4 colors for $40 at Amazon.
Bose QuietComfort 20 Noise-Canceling Ear Buds. Not cheap at $299, but checks off so many boxes — small and portable, great sound, comfortable with ear tabs to keep them securely in place.
Sony Professional Headphones are a less-pricey option at $78. Small, lightweight, and comfortable, with fantastic balanced sound; these are foldable and come with a travel case.
DxO One 20.2MP digital camera for iPhone and iPad. Have you seen this yet?! I’m dying to try one out. This is NOT just a lens to attach to your iPhone, but an actual camera with 20MP and large sensor that connects to the phone which acts as the digital viewfinder. This would make a HUGE difference for me when trying to photograph without notice in restaurants or elsewhere for the blog and Instagram. $599 at Amazon, with an option to receive a 32 GB memory card and tripod for the iPhone for the same price in their “Holiday Bundle.”
eBags EXO 2.0 Hardside Spinner Carry-On. It’s hard to beat this lightweight, well-built spinner available for $129-149 at eBags. I’m putting the bronze one on my wish list.
Flight 001 Spacepak packing bags will keep your bag organized and beautiful. They even have a a separate pocket for laundry, keeping everything tidy.
LL Bean toiletry kit. I’ve been using this bag for years, and it still looks great. It’s easy to find what you need, plus it hangs — perfect for small bathrooms or limited counter space! $40 including a lifetime warranty from LL Bean.
MOMA Store’s Patchwork Highway Bag. MOMA’s regular highway bags are pleasing to the eye, but I especially like the Patchwork version, which is on sale right now by the way! The crossbody design with plenty of compartments are perfect for days spent touring a city.
LOOP travel adaptor. Nothing fun or sexy about an adaptor as a gift BUT it’s useful and a perfect size for the Christmas stocking. This compact one has two usb ports plus a traditional outlet so can charge three devices at the same time.
Still unsure what to give? These two gift cards will definitely be appreciated and get used — Marriot and Delta.
